What is Bentowise?

Bentowise is a loacal-first bento-styled workspace for collecting, organizing, and presenting what you research and learn using modular cards, boards, and projects.

How is Bentowise different from Notion / Evernote / bookmarks …

Bentowise is built for capture → organize → review → present with a browsable board.

UJsing blocks in a board make it easy to save small pieces (highlights, snippets, files) without turning everything into long documents you’ll never re-open.

All boads and blocks are saved locally in your device and you can work offline.

What are Projects and Boards?

• Projects are big buckets (work, school, clients, research areas).
• Boards are focused spaces inside a project where you organize data blocks around a topic, deliverable, or theme.

Can I customize the look of my boards and blocks?

Yes. You can personalize things like colors and cover images so your boards look like yours, not a corporate spreadsheet cosplay.

Can I present my boards as slides?

Yes. Bentowise can filter(Pro feature) and turn collections of cards into a slide-style view for presenting or reviewing.

Does Bentowise work offline?

Bentowise is designed to be local-first, meaning your core data lives on your device and stays available even when you’re offline. (Some features may require internet, like sync or link previews.)

What OS are supported?

Bentowise supports macOS and Windows.
To avoid compatibility issues, we recommend trying the free Core plan before upgrading to Pro.

Do you have sync across devices?

Bentowise is local-first. Everything is saved locally on your device by default. If you want multi-device access, you can sync your Bentowise project folders using a trusted third-party, file-based sync service like Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud Drive, OneDrive, or any similar folder-sync tool.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Core plan is free with limits (like the number of projects/boards). Pro unlocks higher limits and advanced features.

What’s included in Pro?

Pro includes things like:

• Unlimited (or much higher) projects and boards
• More powerful organization and presentation features
• Early access to new features and improvements
• Email support

Is Pro discounted during Early Access?

Yes. Early Access pricing offers a significant discount for Pro for a limited time.

Can I try Bentowise before paying?

Yes. You can start with the free Core pan, and upgrade to Pro anytime.

Do you offer refunds?

Pro is a one-time purchase, so you keep what you paid for. Because the license is delivered digitally, refunds are limited and handled case by case.

To avoid surprises, we recommend trying Core before purchasing Pro.

If your Pro license hasn’t been activated within 7 days of purchase, contact us with your order details and we’ll review your request.

Is my data private?

Not like some web SaaS apps, Bentowise is local-first, which means your core data lives on your device.

We don’t sell your data. If you choose to share logs or files with support, we use them only to troubleshoot issues and improve the product.
